Generic

Qinertia accepts generic ASCII and/or binary files formats to input data and measurements. Thanks to these generic file formats, Qinertia can process any type of IMU, GNSS, Odometer etc.

These generic file formats are the way Qinertia supports third party IMU/INS for all manufacturers that are not natively supported by Qinertia.

Please find below the documentation for each type of input.

IMU File — Input acceleration and rotation rates sensors data
GNSS PVT File — Provides position and velocity data from a GNSS receiver
Heading File — Input true heading measurements to improve INS heading
DMI File — Feed the INS with odometer velocities
DVL File — Provide 3D velocities from a Doppler Velocity Logger
Events File — Import time stamped event markers such as camera shutters
Match File — Directly load a time stamp / picture file match for photogrammetry
Velocity File — Provides external velocity aiding data
Generic position File — Input an external position for example visual positioning or radio navigation systems
