Product overview

The Stellar-40 is a tactical-grade GNSS-aided Inertial Navigation System (INS), built for environments with high vibrations and GNSS interference.

Engineered for land, marine, and airborne applications, it integrates a tactical MEMS-based inertial sensor with a resilient GNSS receiver. The embedded GNSS receiver provides full-band, full-constellation tracking with HAS and NaviC support, and an advanced anti-jamming and anti-spoofing detection mechanisms. This combination ensures a resilient robust navigation under GNSS interference, even on platforms with extreme vibration profile.

At the algorithmic level, the Stellar-40 fully supports the SAF2Nav framework. This architecture offers advanced features within its sensor fusion algorithm, including highly sophisticated spoofing detection, sensor bias estimation, and specific kinematic modeling for various vehicle types to maximize performance. Furthermore, SAF2Nav facilitates the integration of external aiding sensors to provide continuous, resilient navigation in harsh environments.

An optional secondary antenna offers two benefits:

  • It allows the sensor to strengthen its spoofing detection capabilities,
  • and, operate effectively in low-dynamic conditions.

Mechanically, the Stellar-40 integrates a triple-layer vibration mitigation architecture within a design optimized for scalability and mass production. The form factor bridges the gap between a standard OEM component and a fully ruggedized unit, making it highly adaptable yet durable enough for harsh environments. It is qualified to MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1275, and MIL-STD-810 standards.
